Through the principles of psychomotricity and yoga, we can say that the child “learns” thanks to corporeal experience. With the gaze, facial expressions, gestures, movements, the position the child occupies in space they communicate their being in the world, their modes of knowledge and their means of relating to others.
Yoga for children is not the yoga practiced by adults. These workshops have been created with the idea of allowing the child to experiment, explore and examine their relationship with their body and with the surrounding environment within the context of play.
From infancy, children can be accompanied along a path of developing self-awareness; this contributes to the creation of a sensorial experience that may help stimulate more lively, more stable attention.
The process undertaken in a small group is an invitation to rediscover the delights of cooperating with other children without the element of competition.
